The 6 golden rules of reading groups
(excerpted and adapted from "Reading group choices: selections for lively book discussion")- Avoid cross discussions and do not talk at the same time as another member.
- Be respectful and try to have an open mind.
- Try not to repeat what others have already said, but try to contribute something new or additions to the previous comment.
- Remember that there is no wrong and right, only differences of opinion.
- Be willing to learn from others.
- If you are extroverted, be careful to leave room for others to express their thoughts.
